Senior Stock Controller required
Location: Rotherham
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temp to Permanent Opportunity
Apex Resources are currently recruiting for a Senior Stock Controller to join a growing and fast-paced business within the technology and IT hardware sector based in Rotherham. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
Due to the nature of the business, candidates ideally would have a technical or IT hardware background but must have previous experience within stock control or inventory management.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory control across the operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels of IT hardware and components
- Processing incoming and outgoing stock using internal inventory systems
- Ensuring items are correctly logged, labelled and stored
- Working closely with warehouse and technical teams to ensure stock availability
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
- Carrying out regular stock checks and audits
- Maintaining organised storage and stock management procedures
Requirements
- Must have Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse stock administration
- Technical / IT hardware knowledge is preferred
- Experience using stock management or warehouse systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
